Croeso i’r dosbarth un!
In Year 1 this year we have Miss Mayo, Mrs Holl and Mrs Hayward. We have had a fantastic start to the term and everybody is trying really hard. Our topic for this term is ‘Splendid Skies’. The children have really engaged well with this topic and have some super ideas of what they would like to learn about within the topic.
Our PE days are Tuesdays. Reading books will be changed and homework will be given out every Friday. Please could you write a comment in your child’s reading record to allow us to change their book. Homework should be brought back by the following Thursday. Spellings tests will be done every Friday, please make every effort to help your child practise their spellings as these are key words they will use in their everyday reading and writing, Diolch!
